Powerlite Starter Motor to fit Defender 2.5L - Petrol - 4 Cylinder.
When the ignition is turned it provides an electrical current to the starter motor which cranks the flywheel in turn. This starts the engine.

These lightweight units offer increased cranking speeds and considerably more cranking power than original units, whilst drawing less current from the battery. The units are ideal for road competition applications, especially where engines have been tuned and adverse conditions require extra performance from the starter motor.
All Powerlite starters are direct replacement for original units and require no modifications to the vehicle on which they are installed, as they work for both positive and negative polarity. The compact lightweight units are often easier to install than the original unit and units are modified where necessary to aid fitment.

Please note that this item will not be shipped outside of the UK. If the parts ordered are in stock your order will be processed the same day of your purchase as long as the order is received before noon. If the order is received after noon, then it will be processed the following working day. For small lightweight items we use Royal Mail 1st Class, for heavier items we use a 48hr courier service. Larger, heavy items will be sent via Pallet, and will only be delivered kerb side. All items will need to be signed for upon delivery. Some items will be shipped directly from our own warehouse, while others will come directly from the manufacturer. To ensure the quickest delivery service, your order maybe shipped in different packages.
