Dawn The Defender

This Land Rover Defender 90 is affectionately called Dawn. 

Dawn has been in the workshop with us to be fitted with a new Duel Charge System. 

The Duel Charge System is a fully automatic battery system, which separates the starter battery from the auxiliary battery if the vehicle has stopped and links them while the car is running. 

For emergency situations all systems are equipped with a manual override function. This manual linking function (called load sharing) is very helpful for jump starting or when using high current appliances such as an electrical recovery winch, power inverter or compressor. 

Thanks to our skilled Land Rover specialists, we were able to fit the Dual Charge System in time for Dawns adventure to Wales at the weekend.
