Terms & Conditions of Sale

Suppliers of Parts & Accessories for Land Rover, Freelander and Range Rover Vehicles.

These are the Company Terms & Conditions of sale of which all sales, including over the counter, and E-Commerce (distance selling) are subject.

It is your responsibility to read the Terms & Conditions each time you make a purchase as we change our terms from time to time. If your order is received before noon on a working day, all available stocked items will be dispatched the same day. Orders received after noon, will be dispatched on the following working day. Items not in stock can usually be sourced within 24hrs, and will either be dispatched when we receive them from the manufacturer. Or, they will be dispatched directly from the manufacturer to you. If we are unable to supply your requested parts we will inform you of this as soon as possible. If you have made payment already for a part that is out of stock a full refund will be given for that part. Part numbers and pictures in this website are used for reference only and may not depict the actual product received. There will be variations on colour for some components.

Title & Risk

The risk of any product shall pass to the buyer, or their agent upon receipt of delivery. The title of all goods shall only pass to the buyer upon cleared payment in full of the invoice price, including the cost of delivery. Until such time, the title and legal ownership of the ordered goods will remain with the company. The Company remains entitled to recover any or all products in the buyers possession to which the Company still has title to at any time. For that purpose, the Company, it’s employees, or agents may with such transport as is necessary to recover the goods, shall enter any premises occupied by the buyer, or any third party thereafter, or enter in to any property the buyer has access to, where the goods may be or are believed to be located.


All prices are in GBP Sterling (£) and are subject to VAT at the current prevailing rate of 20% on all items except books. Currently we only ship to UK addresses. The Company will not be held liable for any delay or failure to deliver ordered goods or otherwise perform any obligation as laid out in these Terms and Conditions, if the same is wholly or partly caused, whether directly or indirectly, by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Prices listed or quoted either on this website, or verbally (over the phone/in person) are based upon costs prevailing at the time when published on the website. We retain the right to adjust the price of the goods at the time of dispatch, by an amount that may be necessary to cover any increase in costs sustained by the company after the date of acceptance of the buyers order. Costs may increase as a direct result of the direct or indirect costs of making, obtaining, handling storing or supplying the goods. Any such price adjustment shall be given in writing by the company to the buyer prior to dispatch of the goods. At that point you will have the right to cancel the order for goods and a full refund will be made. All quotations made by the company are valid for 30 days and subject to these conditions.


VAT will automatically be calculated and added to your order before you submit your order at the checkout page on our website's secure server. The Company will confirm receipt of your order using the email address you supplied when registering on our website. This email is only an acknowledgement and does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order. We always retain the right to cancel an order if it is in detriment to the company. If you place an order for goods via the telephone or in person, the VAT amount will be given to you verbally and added onto your final invoice along with any incurred delivery costs. Payment, all goods must be paid for in full, in GBP (£ Sterling), before they or any vehicles to which they're fitted, or other objects upon which services have been performed, are released to the buyer. Unless previous credit arrangements have been set in place, prior to ordering your goods online. 

Delivery of Goods - General

Under normal operational circumstances, available stock items will be dispatched the same day if the order is received before noon (excluding weekends). If your order is received after noon, it will be processes the following working day. Non stocked items can usually be found within 24hrs (excluding weekends). If the company is unable to supply your order we will inform you of this as soon as possible, and a full refund will be given if payment has already been made for the goods the company is unable to supply. The buyer is solely responsible for the cost of delivery, unless otherwise stated. Where applicable, this will be shown separately on the invoice.

E-Commerce, various delivery options and costs are listed for each product on our website and vary depending on the product. If you are unsure please call the company for more information. Unless otherwise stated all delivery and packaging costs must be paid for by the customer. If there are any shortages in your packages, or non-delivery of your ordered products, or damage of the goods ordered, the buyer must inform the company within 3 working days of receipt of delivery. Our delivery times are quoted in working days and are subject to change depending upon the size, content, origin and destination of the ordered goods. Please note deliveries to remote areas may take longer, and a delivery surcharge may apply. Among others we use Parcel Force to deliver your order, you can check the expected delivery times and restrictions here.  If you supply any special instructions for deliveries to be left in safe places, or with neighbours, they are at the liability of the customer.

Warranty - General

Parts warranty & Liability

All new products are covered by a 12 month manufactures warranty unless otherwise stated. You must notify us immediately if a potential warranty situation arises. We will then advise a course of action. Any suspected faulty product must be returned to us together with the original invoice or proof of purchase and with as much information relating to the problem as possible. You must obtain a RMA number from us via telephone and fully complete the returns form, to be returned with the defective part, which is available here. Any defective parts must be returned, received and tested by us before it can be exchanged. All warranty items will undergo a physical inspection by the company, or at the request of our suppliers, the defective item will be returned to our supplier to verify the fault before it can be exchanged or refunded. The warranty for all goods ordered from the company commences from the original invoice date, and not the date of fitment or first use. The warranty covers defects to the item when fitted and used correctly for normal everyday use, but does not apply to items used for any extraordinary or unusual uses. Unusual use includes, but is not limited to, competition, racing, rallying or items subsequently stripped down, altered, modified or adapted etc. in any way than their original design or intend use.

Although we are by law, liable for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence and by The Sale Of Goods act 1979, our warranty only covers the product in question, and not for any consequential loss or cost, including, but not limited to, labour costs, replacement car hire, vehicle recovery, re-delivery, parking fines etc.

No claim will be validated if the failure of the part has been caused by misuse, overheating, neglect, incorrect installation and fitment, or failure of a related component. Upon acceptance of any warranty claim item it will be either repaired or replaced free of charge at our sole discretion, and will only benefit from the balance of the remaining original warranty. If a repair or replacement is not available a full refund will be given excluding any associated delivery and packaging costs.

Returns Policy - Returns - General

Returns Policy

For any goods to be returned please contact our customer service department on  01189 732732 stating you have a product you'd like to return.  You will be given advice and instructions on delivery or collection of the product. You must ensure all goods are suitably packed to avoid any breakages during transit to our premises. Returned goods must be in their original packaging and suitable for resale. Returned goods must not have been fitted and used. A restocking fee of 10% may be applied for returned goods that have been supplied correctly.

Warranty products will be collected free of charge.

Before returning any items to the Company, regardless of when purchased, a RMA number must be obtained in advance from the company by the buyer and this must accompany the returned item. Each item must be accompanied with a fully completed returns form, available here. Returns will be rejected without a RMA number and a duly completed returns form.

Exchange Unit

A serviceable exchange unit must be suitable for reconditioning; broken or incomplete units will not be accepted. All returned units need to be emptied of any fluid, and must be clean externally and suitably wrapped/packaged. A surcharge will be levied on any item that is sold as an 'exchange unit', this will be refunded upon receipt of a suitable exchange unit by the company.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product. Upon receiving and confirming the above the Company will give a part only refund no later than 30 days, following the date of receipt of the goods by the Company including the original delivery cost except where the product was part of a consignment" The product must be returned in its original undamaged retail packaging and accompanied by the original invoice. A handling/restocking charge of 10% may be deducted for any items not required and returned.

All special order items are non-returnable. Please contact our customer service team if you are unsure if your item is a special order.

Exchange unit - A serviceable exchange unit must be suitable for reconditioning; broken or incomplete units will not be accepted.

Faulty Goods

Please notify Safari Engineering Ltd upon identifying a possible fault with the product we will verify the warranty and arrange return of the item to enable our warranty process to begin. (See above for detail)

Unwanted Goods and Cancellation of Orders

If you decide you no longer want any goods that we have supplied to you, you can return the item(s) within 14 working days from the day after the product was received by you, the customer. The product must be returned in its original undamaged retail packaging and accompanied by a copy of the original invoice, an RMA number and a duly completed returns form. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product. Upon receiving and confirming the above, the Company will give a full refund, no later than 30 days, following the date of receipt of the goods by the Company including the original delivery cost, except where the product was part of a consignment. A handling/restocking charge of 10% may be deducted for any items not required and returned.

All special order items are non- returnable.


These conditions and the contract shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with English law, and for the purpose of settlement of any disputes arising out of or in connection with them, the parties will submit themselves to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

The statutory regulations for implementation of the convention concluded at The Hague on 1st July 1974 relating to a uniform law on the International sale of goods shall not be applicable to this contract.

Acceptance of good(s) shall signify your acceptance and to be bound by the Company’s latest Terms and Conditions.
